Jahna Sincane accompanied her husband, Bale, in his wanderings in the wilderness. Bale's devotion to her safekeeping is practically religious. However, as a cleric of Irori, she is perfectly capable of defending herself against most common threats - particularly the Wild Dead. In her turn, Jahna also worries for her husband's well-being. She is often seen fussing over his accumulated scrapes and bruises, and she shows a notable concern for Bale's mental and emotional state.
Party members will occasionally hear the Sincanes share a cryptic exchange wherein Jahna asks her husband, "How fare you?", to which Bale always answers "No less unwell than yesterday. Nor more."
[Party members with a high Sense Motive bonus will realize they are actually saying "Are you still sane?" and "I am today."]
Having spent her entire life struggling against the unliving hordes, Jahna harbors a visible mistrust for Ohmani denizens. Whenever in the presence of an undead creature, she keeps one hand on her holy symbol, and another on a concealed flask of holy water.
When Bale is off adventuring, Jahna can be found working for House Doriavo. She serves as a healer or a scroll-scriber - according to the needs of the day. What money she earns, she spends preparing scrolls for herself in case of undead attacks.

Jahna has growing concerns about the company her husband keeps. Belben Ohlsen was one thing; the risen paladin clearly holds the trust of the gods. And, Belben at least has the decency to despise his state of unlife.
But now the Kshatriyo denizen, Stern Lade, and a card-carrying vampire? She hopes Bale's desperation hasn't driven him to actually rely on vile undead for camaraderie and security. Jahna will regard Hasan and Stern with cold suspicion and mistrust, and make arrangements to destroy them should they betray the Sincanes.
